Our Interview with the Cosplayer segment features Miss Sinister Cosplay ! We were fortunate to be able to do this with her during busy schedule at Sakura Con 2014. Based in Portland, OR, Miss Sinister is making a huge impression within the cosplay community, not just because of her already-awesome cosplay, but also because of her fantastic cosplay make up skills. Her amazing artistic ability allows her to just paint her face (and head) like any character she wants to be.

Her cosplay portfolio is also quite impressive, in that she cosplays everything from heroes to villains and female to male characters. We love that she can cosplay such a variety of characters and she does such a great job.
With that, I just had to learn more about her background as an artist and the story behind her shaved head! Check out my interview with her as we discuss what initiated her cosplay career, life outside the cosplay world, why she shaved her head, and lastly, advice for cosplayers who are new and current interested in reaching out more within the cosplay community.
